Navajo EMS is a Dedicated, Progressive Service Focused on Quality Care. Expanded Advanced Life Support Capabilities and Transport Services are Pre-eminent. We Consist of a Well Organized Structure of Dedicated Personnel Determined to Provide Elite Services.

The Department consists of the Administration Office, Two (2) Field Operation Offices, (East and West) the office of Training and Technical Assistance, Third Party Billing Section, Property Office, Accounting Office and 13 Field Offices. The Operational aspects of Emergency Medical Services are carried out from Indian Health Service hospitals or clinics that are managed by the Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

As a Public Safety Service, the Emergency Medical Services also provides training in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR - Health Care Provider) - Heart Saver First Aid and the Emergency Medical Technicians Basic course, Emergency Medical Technicians Intermediate course and the First Responders course. The Goal of the Department is to Provide for the contained development of the comprehensive Public Safety and Emergency Medical Services System to advance the quality of care and transportation of the sick and/or Injured.
